01 · How we celebrated

All white. One room. Everyone we’ve ever built with.

On 5th September 2026, AntBox turned two. We did not book a hall and give speeches. We got everyone who has been part of the last two years into one room in Bhubaneswar: the colony, our clients, our stakeholders, our university partners, alumni who have moved on, and students who came through a sprint and now work somewhere we are proud of.

The theme was ANT‑ARCTICA. Everyone came in white. The floor was black and white. The only colour in the room was the cake.

On every table

A placard. One AntBox fact each.

Every table had a placard with a single true fact about AntBox on it. No website for 11 months. A whole deal, closed on WhatsApp. First office: a computer. Someone here started as an intern and now runs a client account. Nobody was told what to do with them. Every table ended up arguing, laughing, or telling the story behind theirs.

Nobody got past the entrance without writing one. Some were a sentence. Some were a paragraph. Some were an inside joke only three people understood. By the end of the night the wall by the door was the most-read thing in the room.

The people who couldn’t be there, were.

Alumni who have moved to other companies. Students we placed who are now in other cities. Clients in other time zones. Phones were passed around all night with someone on the other end. A few clients joined on Meet and Zoom and stayed for the cake. Nobody who has been part of AntBox was left out of the room.

Nobody read out revenue. The only number in the room was the 2 on top of the cake, and it was cut by everyone who had been there since the first year, all at once, badly.

We are building the way careers start. Everywhere.

AntBox is India’s first talent supply technology company. We believe a student with real work behind them beats a graduate with a good interview, and we have spent two years proving it.

We find students before they graduate, train them until they are ready for a real seat, and put them inside real companies for six to twelve months. No interview. The work is the interview. We call it Proof of Work, and it is the reason everyone in these photos had a career before they had a degree.

It started in Bhubaneswar. It already runs in the United States, Europe and India. Students trained here have shipped software for companies in Copenhagen, Singapore, Bengaluru and the American Midwest, and none of them were asked to sit an interview to earn that seat.

The goal is simple and large: make the interview obsolete for early-career hiring, one company at a time, on every continent where talent is being wasted on a thirty-minute conversation.

Two years ago, most people thought this was a nice idea that wouldn’t survive the market.

It survived. Then it started winning. Not because we were smarter than anyone, but because we bet on people everyone else was still waiting to interview.

Tonight I looked around a room full of twenty-one-year-olds who have shipped software to three continents, and the clients who trusted them before anyone else would. Nobody in this room got in on a resume. Everyone got in on the work.

No speech. Just this: thank you for showing up, every single day, including the ones nobody was watching. Year three, we go bigger.
